Financial Aid and Scholarship Information

Financial aid awards are based on need. Students must complete a workshop registration form and financial aid application form to be considered for aid. No incomplete applications will be considered. It is extraodinarily rare for a student to receive aid in an amount higher than $500. The earlier an aid application is submitted (need- or merit-based), the better the odds of receiving aid will be. Financial aid will be awarded on a rolling basis with applications considered on the following schedule. Applications for which aid is not awarded will be rolled over for consideration at the next aid decision date.

March 5:     Award Date One (33% of total allocation awarded)
April 5:     Award Date Two (33% of total allocation awarded)
May 5:     Award Date Three (34% of total allocation awarded)

No financial aid applications received after May 5 can be considered as no additional funds will be available. These awards should not be relied upon in order to determine whether students will be able to afford to attend but instead are meant to supplement tuition payments.

Urban Debate League students are exempt from the above requirements and will be awarded outside of the indicated allocations. Directors, coaches, and students in Urban Debate Leagues anywhere in the country should contact director@meangreenworkshops.com for special arrangements for UDL students. Please indicate on your application in "Additional Information" that you are a member of a UDL program.

A $60 fee and all necessary information will be due by June 15 to secure transportation.  You must either place a transportation fee in your store shopping cart and checkout with a credit card or mail payment to our address (here) by June 15 to be eligible.  Flights should be scheduled into DFW or Love Field (DAL) only.
